Date of Birth: August 31, 2023 Weight: 18 pounds
Sire: International Champion: Keep on Loving you vom Kaninchengarten "Sam"
Dam: Bring Me Joy vom Kaninchengarten "Hailey"
Hope is our esteemed Dam from Brachttal, Germany, bred by Anika and Stephan Stahl of Cavaliere vom Kaninchengarten which means “Cavaliers In the Rabbit Garden”. She has a wonderful pedigree. Her nickname is Schatzi, because she is our little darling. Her siblings include littermate and Grand Champion I Want to Break Free vom Kaninchengarten "Freddie"; multiple BIS, BISS, and International Champion Paddington vom Kaninchengarten; and Grand Champion X-man vom Kaninchengarten "Logan". We have very beautiful and healthy puppies from our pairings with Hope. It’s a great honor to have her as a part of our family.
Hope came with full breeding health certifications from Europe. We have registered Hope with the AKC, and completed her embark genetic and ofa heart, patella, eye, and PennHIP health certifications. She will achieve her CHIC certification in Spring 2026. All our puppies are AKC Registered with limited registration.
Our little Schatzi is a great Momma! She had her first litter of six adorable babies in August 2025. Five girls and one boy. All beautifull and divine! She has been paired and mated for her second litter due in Spring 2026. We will have breeders choice pick of that upcoming litter and we are so excited to establish our own legacy line with this lovely lady. Thereafter little Schatzi will only be bred annually and then retired to enjoy many years to come at her leisure.
Katie Scarlett O'Hara of Thunder Pups Farm "Katie"
Date of Birth: May 28, 2024 Weight: 17.5 pounds
Sire: Star Lite's Gizmo the Great
Dam: Lady Dusty Rose
Dam Katie Scarlett O'Hara of Thunder Pups Farm is a beautiful Tri-Colored Cavalier with excellent lineage and Pedigree. We have obtained all age appropriate ofa Health Certifications to confirm she is well suited for our breeding program. Katie has completed her preliminary basic cardiology and Patella clearances. She has also passed both her ACVO Eye and PennHIP clearances. We will continue her eye and heart clearances annually, as we do with all our breeding dogs. Katie will recieve her CHIC certification in Spring 2026 before age two. Her embark genetic testing can be viewed here.
She is a little spitfire with endless energy. She came home as Bella was weening of her first litter and Isabella is so sweet with Katie. Now Katie is baby sitting Willow and plays all day with Hope. Cavaliers have the biggest hearts tucked away in those tiny fur packages. All LOVE!!! When you have one, you'll know.
Katie is ready to mate for her first litter at her next heat cycle sometime in early 2026 for puppies to go to new homes in Spring/Summer 2026.
Isabella Esther of Thunder Pups Farm "Bella"
Date of Birth: November 15, 2021 Weight: 20 pounds
Sire: Sir Barclay of Mill's River
Dam: Chloe of Honeybee Farm
Isabella has well researched parentage, we met her parents and grandparents, and all are still in excellent health! Bella has had her genetic and health testing (CHIC) and a four generation AKC Certified Pedigree. Bella has Grand Championship blood lines with multiple champions! She is a beautiful Black and Tan Cavalier. She also has the lowest COI-coefficient of inbreeding percent, of any Cavalier we have ever found. This genetic diversity is key to health and longevity.
After fostering rescue dogs for many decades, it is a great joy to create well socialized trusting puppies. Isabella and Kip are a mated pair and she gave birth to their first litter in June 2024. Beautiful Rubies and Black & Tan Puppies! Her second litter was born in January 2025 two gorgeous ruby twins. In August 2026 Bella gave birth to 7 healthy babies in our first Rainbow Litter with our Sire Winston.
We have planned her last litter and she will be mating with Winston very soon. Afterwards, Isabella will retire at Four years old for a wonderful healthy life with her son Frankie. We'll get to see her often for years to come. It's very hard to let our Momma's go, but its the very best thing to do for them and for the dogs that remain with us. Having rescued from dog hoarding situations-I will never exceed a normal homelife environment for our dogs.
See our Future Litter Page for pictures and details for her future litter.
Elora Danan's Willow of Thunder Pups Farm "Willow"
Date of Birth: December 21, 2024 Weight: 14 pounds
Sire: Miss Grace Mary
Dam: Oliver Edwin
Dam Elora Danan's Willow of Thunder Pups Farm is a special little lady who likes to "talk". We look forward to producing the most beautiful Ruby Cavaliers. She and Kip are both dark rubies and we expect some stunning ruby puppies from those pairings. It's also exciting that Willow has genetic traits that will allow her to produce blenheim colors too with a blenheim partner. She is capable of having a rainbow litter with the right black and tan or tri colored Sire. We will pair Willow with Kip our Ruby Sire for Ruby puppies and with Winston our Blenheim Sire for blenheim and ruby puppies!
Willow has passed her genetic and preliminary health testing: basic heart assuscitation, vet physical exams for patella and hips. She has earned her first annual ofa ACVO eye and final PennHIP health certifications. Willow will complete her CHIC certification in Spring of 2026, before age two. She will be not be ready to breed until Winter 2027. Her pedigree is linked here.
Retired Thunder Pups Where are they now? Living with their babies of course! It's our dream to retire each of our females with one of their puppies, to live with their baby in a family setting bursting with love. We take great pride in keeping our retired Momma's in a bonded relationship with one of their puppies.
In October 2023 White Manitou Khloe, arrived from Budapest, Hungary. She was later renamed Shelby.
In order to import a breeding dog from Europe, she is required to pass all export health clearances. Bailey came to us at just over four months old with passing eye, patella, hips and heart certifications. We repeated all her health testing. We learned her hips are rated a little high of standard deviation for our liking to improve Cavaliers.
This is why ongoing health testing is so important. Extra weight from additional pregnancies could have adverse impact for Bailey/Shelby. Putting her health and longevity first, we retired her to reduce her risk of hip arthritis and the possibility of dysplasia. Our intent is to better the breed. Small risks to Dam, Sire or Puppy's health and longevity are not acceptable for our program.
Bailey is content living with our dear friends. We knew they were right for both Mother and Baby the first time we met. They have a beautiful family including three other dogs, one of these is Bailey's daughter Holly. Our puppy families become extended family for us. We know she is cherished and loved, as are her daughter and their other siblings both two and four legged. We couldn't be more pleased.
