We would love to hear from you.
Thunder Pups Farm works from a waitlist for our upcoming litters, so we encourage prospective families to contact us well in advance of when they hope to welcome a puppy home.

A quick note when calling: To reduce spam and telemarketing calls, our phone automatically screens callers who are not already in our contacts. If prompted, please say your name and that you’re calling about a Thunder Pups puppy. Your call will then come through so we know it’s a puppy family trying to reach us.
We personally speak with prospective puppy families before placement. This gives us an opportunity to get to know you, answer your questions and make sure a Thunder Pup is the right fit for your family.
We welcome prearranged visits to our home in Simpsonville, South Carolina, where you can meet our Cavaliers and see the environment in which our puppies are raised.
Once puppies have completed their four-week veterinary examination, families may visit to meet their puppy. For families who cannot visit in person, we are happy to arrange a live FaceTime video call.
We will never ask you to pay for a puppy without first giving you the opportunity to see your puppy in person or by live video.
Our Cavaliers live with us as family members. We are not a kennel. Our dogs share our home, sleep with us and our puppies grow up surrounded by everyday family life. We want you to see firsthand the environment, care and socialization your Thunder Pup receives.
We also provide full transparency into the health testing of the Cavaliers in our breeding program, with direct links to health results throughout our website.
It is both our responsibility and our privilege to carefully place every puppy we bring into the world.
Our puppies are placed in prequalified homes at approximately 8–10 weeks of age. We ask prospective families to participate in a phone conversation so we can learn about you, your household and what you are looking for in a Cavalier.
We also ask our families to remain in touch throughout their dog's life. Those updates allow us to follow the health, temperament and development of the Cavaliers we produce and help guide responsible breeding decisions for future generations.
Before joining our waitlist, please review our Thunder Pups Farm Puppy Agreement so you are familiar with our placement requirements and lifelong commitment to our puppies.
If you are not comfortable with a phone conversation or maintaining occasional lifelong contact about your Cavalier, Thunder Pups Farm may not be the right fit for you.
Thunder Pups are placed as beloved companions on AKC Limited Registration. We do not sell breeding rights.
Our puppies must be protected from accidental or intentional breeding. Limited Registration means offspring produced by your Thunder Pup cannot be registered with the AKC, while your Cavalier may still participate in many AKC activities, including scent work, rally, obedience and agility.
Please see our Cavalier Education Center for additional information about our puppy policies and care recommendations.
Every Thunder Pup goes home prepared for a successful transition to your family, including:
✓ Three age-appropriate veterinary examinations
✓ First DHPP immunization
✓ Birth, veterinary and deworming health records
✓ AKC Limited Registration
✓ AKC Reunite microchip
✓ Starter supply of Royal Canin puppy food
✓ XXS puppy harness and leash
✓ Puppy toothbrush
✓ Familiar-scented plush toy
✓ Familiar-scented baby blanket
Your puppy's AKC Reunite microchip will be registered at pickup, with Thunder Pups Farm remaining a secondary contact for life.
Families are responsible for arranging pickup or transportation for their puppy.
Our home is less than 20 minutes from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), and families frequently fly in and return home with their puppy the same day.
Puppy flight nannies are also welcome. We will meet your nanny and provide the appropriate travel documentation so your puppy can travel safely in the aircraft cabin.
We do not permit our puppies to travel by air as unattended cargo.
Our responsibility to the dogs we produce does not end when they leave our home.
Thunder Pups Farm will always accept the prearranged surrender of a Thunder Pup Cavalier if circumstances make it impossible for a family to continue caring for their dog. Purchase prices are not refunded upon surrender.
Please never surrender a Cavalier to a kill shelter.
We have decades of experience in dog rescue and volunteer with Cavalier rescue. If you are in South Carolina and need assistance, we can also help connect you with Cavalier Rescue USA.
