It's our dream to retire each of our mothers with one of her puppies, giving them the opportunity to continue that special bond while enjoying life together in a loving family home.
We take great pride in knowing our retired Mommas are cherished family members and, whenever possible, remain in a bonded relationship with one of the puppies they brought into the world.

As Thunder Pups has evolved, we have chosen to no longer keep breeding sires in our home. Instead, we carefully select fully health-tested sires from outstanding programs throughout the United States. This allows us to broaden our genetic options and choose the sire who best complements each individual Dam, while maintaining the peaceful home environment we value for our Cavaliers.
We provide full transparency for every sire we use and used in the past, with direct links to their health certifications on our Planned Litters page.

Elora Danan's Willow of Thunder Pups Farm "Willow"
Willow is our beautiful Ruby girl who was originally considered for our breeding program.
As our program evolved, we chose a wonderful new home for Willow with Winston's program, where she could help support their expansion and shared commitment to Cavalier preservation.
We are delighted that Willow has the opportunity to contribute to the future of the breed while enjoying life as a cherished family Cavalier.
Isabella Esther of Thunder Pups Farm "Bella"
Bella is our beautiful Black & Tan girl and the mother of our first legacy Thunder Pup, Maggie. With wonderful health, temperament and genetic diversity, Bella made an important contribution to our breeding program.
After her final litter, Bella retired to enjoy life with one of her own puppies—exactly the happy ending we hope for every Thunder Pups Momma.
She will always hold a very special place in the Thunder Pups family.
Christopher Robin Mountbatten of Thunder Pups Farm "Kip"
Kip is our handsome Ruby boy with an exceptional pedigree and complete health and genetic testing. We retired Kip when breeding became stressful for him. His wellbeing always comes first. He happily remains part of our family.
Kip's puppies are known for their beautiful looks and especially affectionate, loving Cavalier temperaments.
Taurunum Angel's Double Trouble "Winston"/"Winnie"
Winston is our gorgeous Serbian-born Blenheim with an exceptional pedigree of international champions.
Winston completed extensive health and genetic testing. As we simplified our home breeding program, Winston moved on to a wonderful family life surrounded by Cavaliers.
We retain the option to use Winston for future pairings—our very best backup man!
White Manitou Khloe “Shelby”
Shelby joined us from Budapest, Hungary, in 2023. Although she arrived with European health clearances, our continued testing identified hip results that did not meet the standards we wanted for our preservation program.
Putting Shelby's health and longevity first, we chose to retire her rather than risk additional stress on her hips. Her story is a wonderful example of why ongoing health testing matters to us.
Today Shelby is cherished by dear friends and enjoys her retirement alongside her daughter Holly. Seeing mother and daughter together in such a loving home is exactly the kind of retirement we hope for our Thunder Pups Mommas.
