Dams

Hope is our esteemed Dam from Brachttal, Germany, bred by Anika and Stephan Stahl of Cavaliere vom Kaninchengarten which means  “Cavaliers In the Rabbit Garden”. She has a wonderful pedigree. Her nickname is Schatzi, because she is our little darling. Her siblings include littermate and Grand Champion I Want to Break Free vom Kaninchengarten "Freddie"; multiple BIS, BISS, and International Champion Paddington vom Kaninchengarten; and Grand Champion X-man vom Kaninchengarten "Logan". We have very beautiful and healthy puppies from our pairings with Hope. It’s a great honor to have her as a part of our family.

Hope came with full breeding health certifications from Europe. We have registered Hope with the AKC, and completed her embark genetic and ofa advanced heart, patella, eye, and PennHIP health certifications. She achieved her full CHIC certification June 2026. All our puppies are AKC Registered with limited registration. 

Our little Schatzi is a great Momma! She had her first litter of six adorable babies in the Spring of 2025. Five girls and one boy. All beautifull and divine! She had her second litter early in 2026. Three handsome boys that are the most stunning puppies to date for our program. We intentionally skipped a heat to give her a bit more recovery time. Schatzi's next litter is planned for Fall/Winter 2026-7 depending on her natural heat timing. 

Dam Katie Scarlett O'Hara of Thunder Pups Farm is a beautiful Tri-Colored Cavalier with excellent lineage and Pedigree. We have obtained all age appropriate ofa Health Certifications to confirm she is well suited for our breeding program. Katie has completed her advanced cardiology, Patella, ACVO Eye and PennHIP health certificates and clearances. We will continue her eye and heart clearances annually, as we do with all our breeding dogs. Katie completed her full CHIC certification in June 2026. Her embark genetic testing can be viewed here.

She is a little spitfire with endless energy. Katie is a very patient Auntie for Maggie and plays all day with Hope. Cavaliers have the biggest hearts tucked away in those adorable fur packages. All LOVE!!! When you have one, you'll know.

Katie is ready to mate for her first litter at her next heat cycle in 2026. We know her babies will be very coveted and beautiful.

We are excited to introduce our first legacy Thunder Pup! We could not part with Isabella's last daughter.

Genetic diversity is one of our top priorities for Cavalier preservation. Bella, and now Maggie, have much lower COI, coefficient of inbreeding, compared to the average Cavalier. If you know us, you understand that we do not "line" breed our dogs. Line breeding is when close relatives are bred. In humans we call that in breeding, and it has devastating consequences for progeny. 

We have great hopes for little Maggie. She has a well-planned and prestigious Pedigree from her Dam and Sire with Grand AKC and World BIS Champions. She is AKC Registered, has completed her embark genetic testing and will be fully OFA/CHIC Health Certified in hips, patellas, heart and eyes long before we breed her. She has passed all her preliminary health clearances. 

Of course, Maggie will not come of breeding age until Winter 2028. For now, we are enjoying watching her grow.
